Understanding the different color categories in 3D printers

As far as color is concerned, it is important that designs should be presented, as the finished product is likely to look and not geometrically. In 3D printer, color falls into three categories. The first category is the color choice printer, which prints at least three colors at a time. The second category is the basic color printer, which can print several dozen colors in one part. Thirdly, there is the full spectrum color printer which prints 0.5 to 6 million colors in just a single part. Together with the range and number of colors that a professional 3d printer can create, their technologies differ, especially in how exquisitely the machines can print different colors. There are some machines that can print pixel by pixel colors while others only print in large shells or blocks of color.

Color choice and basic color industrial 3d printer can represent various regions or materials in different colors. The full spectrum 3D color printers can apply graphics, photos, text labels, logos and textures and also be able to produce models, which are difficult to differentiate from the real final product. For full color and basic printers, the quality of their print colors is influenced by three factors. These include the resolution of the 3D printer, the BPV (bits per voxel) and the dithering capability of the printer. Higher resolution 3D printers are best to have because they are able to print more DPI (dots per inch).
