Latrell Sprewell net worth & biography

Latrell Fontaine Sprewell (created September 8, 1970) is a former American professional basketball player; he played for the Golden State Warriors, the New York Knicks, as well as the Minnesota Timberwolves. Despite his achievements, his career was overshadowed with a 1997 episode where he choked trainer P. J. Carlesimo during a practice, which finally resulted in a 68-match suspension.

Sprewell’s career came to an unexpected ending in 2005 when he refused a $21-million three-year contract offer in the Timberwolves, which he suggested wouldn’t be enough to feed his kids. Since that time, he’s made headlines for grounding his million dollar yacht, having two of his houses foreclosed upon, and being prohibited from seeing his kids.
