Why your laptop is connecting to multiple wireless networks

When there are multiple wireless networks, it simply means that you are not connecting to the right router or SSID and that an incorrect security key has been entered for that particular wireless network. If this connection is not correct or the security key is wrong, your laptop will not connect to the wireless network. The wireless signals from the internet hotspot device may also not be working because your internet is generally not working. You can actually connect to Wi-Fi but the internet may not be working. The problem in this case is not with your laptop but with your Internet service provider (ISP).
The simplest solution for this wifi not working problem is to verify that the internet connection is indeed working and that your laptop or Wi-Fi connecting device is not the problem. You can use a different device such as a tablet, desktop computer or mobile phone to connect to the wireless network and eventually to the internet. If it is possible to connect to the internet using these devices, it is will make sense to assume that your laptop has an issue, which you need to troubleshoot. You can troubleshoot this problem by looking at the user manual that came with your laptop.
