Why every blogger should have a media kit

When writing this bio, it is important to be personable. Being personable makes it easier for the brand to connect and relate to the blog and you. The press kit template should not focus so much on sales. The second thing to include is graphics. When you look at many media kits, you will understand that most of them have long, boring text. You should break this norm by using graphics that have already been shared on the blog. Consider adding photos you used from your collaboration with a previous brand. But if this is your first time searching for collaboration, just include some graphics or best photos from posts on the blog.

It is also a great idea to include your photo and blog’s logo on this document. If you include your photo, make sure that it is professional. Do not use a photo from your mobile device as this will look unprofessional. The third thing to include in the media kit template is statistics. Many brands always want to know what results they will get if they collaborate with an online blog. While statistics may not give the whole picture, they help in giving marketers some details about the blog’s reach and audience. In statistics, include such things as monthly page views, monthly unique visitors, RSS and total social media subscribers.
